Job Description

**Job Title:** Commissioning Engineer – Security Systems **Role Summary:** Hands‑on engineer responsible for installation, configuration, and commissioning of enterprise security platforms (Genetec, Lenel, C‑Cure, IP CCTV, access control, IDS) across large corporate and critical infrastructure sites. Ensures systems meet H&S standards and delivers client handovers with high quality and reliability. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end commissioning on multiple sites within project timelines. - Maintain strict health‑and‑safety compliance and secure site work standards. - Provide expert troubleshooting and rapid fault resolution during testing phases. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, configure, and commission integrated security systems on client premises. - Conduct system testing, perform fault diagnosis, and resolve issues before handover. - Prepare and deliver client handover documentation and training. - Coordinate with project managers, service teams, and other stakeholders for seamless delivery. - Adhere to H&S policies, secure working procedures, and site‑specific risk assessments. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience installing and commissioning enterprise CCTV, access control, or IDS solutions. - Strong technical knowledge of Genetec, Lenel, C‑Cure, and related platforms. - Ability to troubleshoot complex system faults and implement corrective actions. - Excellent client‑facing communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple site engagements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - UK driving licence. - Appropriate industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Genetec Certified Engineer, Lenel Architect). - Relevant technical diplomas or degrees in Security Engineering, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering preferred. ---
