**Job Title**
DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and related tooling in a high‑velocity software development environment. Provide hands‑on support to development teams, ensuring reliable, automated build, test, and deployment workflows while enforcing development standards and best practices.
**Expectations**
- Build and evolve scalable CI/CD architectures using tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, SonarQube, and Git repositories.
- Automate repetitive processes through scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy).
- Act as a liaison between development teams and operations, promoting industrialization of deliverables and adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including technical studies, tooling upgrades, and process optimizations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple development workshops.
- Configure, upgrade, and administer Jenkins and Artifactory servers.
- Create and maintain development standards, documentation, and training materials.
- Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to developers and business units on build, test, and release activities.
- Conduct investigations, propose solutions, and implement improvements to enhance automation and reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and QA to ensure seamless integration of tools and processes.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience leading CI/CD platform design and deployment (Jenkins, Git, Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory).
- Strong scripting expertise in Bash, Python, or Groovy for automation.
- Deep knowledge of Java/JEE development, Oracle databases, and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket) and Jira/Confluence for project tracking.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with an ability to proactively propose and implement solutions.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, DevOps, or related field.
- Certified DevOps Professional or equivalent (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) preferred.
