**Job Title**
Contract Manager (F/H)
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end contract management for an international defense group, ensuring profitability, compliance, and performance of all purchase contracts. Act as the primary liaison between procurement, legal, finance, projects, and operations to mitigate risks, add value, and drive contractual excellence.
**Expectations**
* 5+ years experience as Contract Manager, Procurement Officer, Contract Lawyer, or similar in a complex industrial or defense environment.
* Demonstrated ability to structure, negotiate, and execute high‑complexity, technically and financially demanding contracts.
* Proven track record of defending company interests in supplier disputes and developing effective mitigation plans.
* Strong collaborative leadership and ability to coach and train cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Serve as the main contact for procurement, legal, finance, projects, and operations teams.
2. Secure and manage contractual risk, developing value‑generating strategies throughout the contract lifecycle (from engineering to execution).
3. Prepare and present robust claim dossiers (penalties, bonuses, penalties, etc.) in supplier disputes.
4. Mentor and coach buyers on contract best practices and risk management.
5. Promote a contract‑centric culture to enhance organizational agility and competitiveness.
6. Assist project leads and prescribers in contract analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.
7. Contribute to the structuring, documentation, and monitoring of contract performance and compliance.
**Required Skills**

**Required Education & Certifications**
* Minimum Bachelor’s +5 (equivalent) in engineering, business, or Master’s in commercial law, contracts, procurement, or project management.
* Specialization in contract management, contract law, strategic procurement or project management.
* Professional certifications such as CPCM, CCCM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
