Senior IT Technical Delivery Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and oversee the organization’s Business-As-Usual (BAU) IT project portfolio, encompassing infrastructure, application rationalization, vendor management, M&A integrations, and major feasibility/outsourcing initiatives. Partner with senior leadership to align technical delivery with business strategy, ensure disciplined project governance, and remove delivery obstacles.
**Expectations**
- Deliver enterprise‑scale IT solutions on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Maintain a balanced, resource‑efficient portfolio across multiple business units or geographies.
- Provide transparent progress reporting and KPIs to executive leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and drive the technical delivery strategy in line with business objectives.
- Lead cross‑functional project and program teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved.
- Manage risk, issues, and change requests; enforce compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Review and approve technical designs, implementation plans, and change requests.
- Serve as primary liaison for senior business, IT, and vendor stakeholders.
- Allocate resources, track and report budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Promote Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices; embed lessons learned.
- Maintain documentation for audits, compliance, and knowledge sharing.
**Required Skills**
- Strong technical leadership with deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency in modern delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams, vendors, and third‑party service providers.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Business acumen: ability to align technical delivery with strategy, manage budgets, and understand commercial contracts.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Project Management certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Agile/Scrum Master certification.
- ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
