**Job Title** Solutions Engineer **Role Summary** Support technical sales across EMEA in a pre‑sales capacity, partnering with Account Executives and enterprise customers to demonstrate the value of data and analytics solutions. Translate business goals into technical solutions, guide product evaluations, and serve as a trusted advisor. **Expectations** - 3–5 years experience in technical or pre‑sales roles in BI, data warehousing, or analytics. - Proven consultative engagement with enterprise customers. - Self‑motivated, adaptable, proactive with strong initiative. - Willingness to travel within EMEA as required. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer analytic objectives. - Present and articulate business value to technical and business stakeholders. - Deliver compelling product demonstrations highlighting differentiation. - Guide customers through evaluations, interpreting their data. - Collaborate with sales to develop and execute account strategies. - Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers and AEs. - Capture and communicate customer requirements to product and engineering. - Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality. - Continuously learn, share knowledge, and contribute to team development. **Required Skills** - Demonstrated success in customer‑facing technical or pre‑sales roles. - Intermediate or higher proficiency in SQL. - Working knowledge of JavaScript or Python preferred. - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices. - Hands‑on experience with modern databases: Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle. - Familiarity with BI/analytics tools: ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, or similar. - Ability to translate customer needs into timely, tailored solutions. - Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for diverse audiences. - Solid grasp of cloud computing concepts and benefits. - Self‑directed, curious, problem‑solving mindset. - Highly coachable and eager to learn and grow. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - Technical certifications in SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or data analytics tools are advantageous.
