**Job Title** Product Designer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract **Role Summary** Design and deliver user‑centric digital experiences for web and native applications within a cross‑functional product team. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate features while ensuring seamless handover to development. Hybrid work (2 days in office, 3 remote) in a fast‑paced, strategic product delivery environment. **Expactations** - Expert‑level proficiency in app and web design, especially Figma. - Strong design‑to‑development handover experience and design‑system knowledge. - Ability to plan, conduct, and apply user‑research insights. - Confident collaboration with product, engineering, content, and architecture teams. - Detail‑focused yet agile, making smart trade‑offs under tight timelines. - Excellent communication of design rationale to senior business stakeholders. - Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft/Adobe Creative Cloud tools. **Key Responsibilities** - Ideate, sketch, and iterate wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user flows for digital journeys. - Partner with product managers, engineers, and content designers to align design with technical constraints and business goals. - Maintain and evolve design system documentation; ensure consistent implementation across products. - Conduct or coordinate user research; translate findings into actionable design improvements. - Present design concepts and rationales to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions. - Produce high‑quality artefacts (specs, style guides, handover assets) to support development. - Manage design tasks in a fast‑moving environment, prioritising work effectively. **Required Skills** - Figma (expert), Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office suite. - UI/UX best practices for web and native applications. - Design‑to‑development handover and design‑system utilization. - User research planning, execution, and synthesis. - Prototyping and interaction design. - Strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder management. - Collaborative teamwork; ability to work independently. - Experience with Jira and Confluence for work management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or related field. - Proven professional experience designing native apps and web products (track record required). - Relevant certifications (e.g., NN/g UX, Interaction Design Foundation) are advantageous but not mandatory.
