Job title: Intern – IT Data Science (Summer 2026) Role Summary: Provide technical support and maintenance for enterprise IT solutions during the summer. Handle low‑complexity tasks, documentation, and basic incident resolution while gaining exposure to system deployments, change management, and cybersecurity practices. Expectations: - Deliver timely, high‑quality assistance for user and system issues. - Escalate problems to appropriate IT teams when necessary. - Adhere strictly to global IT policies, standards, and change‑management procedures. - Support application and hardware lifecycle activities, including inventory tracking. - Actively contribute to the organization’s cybersecurity posture through training, vulnerability identification, and incident reporting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Respond to and resolve low‑complexity IT support tickets. 2. Provide status updates to customers and internal stakeholders. 3. Escalate unresolved issues according to established guidelines. 4. Follow global IT policies, security protocols, and change‑management procedures. 5. Assist in application and hardware lifecycle management and inventory tracking. 6. Collaborate with IT staff to maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing software and hardware. 7. Participate in cybersecurity training and activities; identify, mitigate, and report vulnerabilities or suspicious activity. Required Skills: - Fundamental knowledge of IT systems, applications, and hardware. - Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities. - Quick learner, able to adapt to new technologies and follow detailed documentation. - Basic understanding of or enthusiasm for cybersecurity best practices. - Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on customer service.
