**Job title** Solutions Architect – Snowflake **Role Summary** Lead technical delivery and advisory for Snowflake implementations, translating business needs into scalable, secure data architectures. Design, architect, and code scalable data platforms, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics layers. 3. Lead migrations from legacy systems (Teradata, SAS, Hadoop, etc.) to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption. 4. Develop data roadmaps, lakehouse governance frameworks (Iceberg, etc.), and reusable data product architectures. 5. Advise on Snowflake Marketplace utilization for data sharing and monetization. 6. Provide executive‑level technical thought leadership, including presentations, workshops, and strategy sessions. 7. Implement data security, governance, and compliance controls within Snowflake. 8. Collaborate with product and GTM teams to align solutions with Snowflake’s roadmap and capabilities. **Required Skills** - 8–11 yrs of experience as Solutions Consultant, Data Architect, DBA, or Data Engineer in enterprise settings. - 8+ yrs of technical consulting in large‑scale analytics or platform modernization projects. - Hands‑on Snowflake architecture, coding (SQL), and operational experience. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or Spark for analytics solution development. - Deep understanding of end‑to‑end data lifecycle: ingestion/ETL, platform design, processing, governance, BI, analytics. - Experience with BI, ETL/ELT, and orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.). - Knowledge of large‑scale database technologies (Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum). - Implementation of data security controls and governance in Snowflake. - Familiarity with Iceberg/open table formats and lakehouse governance. - Experience defining data product contracts, discoverability, and domain‑aligned architectures. - Proven migration experience from Teradata, SAS, Hadoop to cloud data platforms. - Strong communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. - Industry certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Advanced, and AWS/GCP/Azure cloud certification preferred. ---
