About the Company

Arkose opened its first “blocpark” at the end of December 2013 in a rapidly developing area in eastern Paris: Montreuil. Today Arkose has centres in 6 towns: Montreuil, Bordeaux, Massy, Paris (Nation), Lyon, and Villeurbanne. The group intends to continue its development in France and abroad.

Arkose is one of the French leaders in boulder gyms and aims to develop 15 new rooms in France and abroad by 2018.

Job Description
Job title: Senior Management Controller Role Summary: Ensure the quality and reliability of financial data, oversee analytical accounting, generate and analyze monthly reporting, develop budgets/forecasts, build dashboards for executive decision‑making, and collaborate with data and IT teams to enhance process automation. Expactations: Minimum 5 years of control‑of‑management experience in a multi‑site organisation with turnover > €50 M, Master 2 in Finance or Control, strong Excel skills, proven monthly closing and forecasting experience, and effective communication with operational stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Validate and ensure the integrity of financial and management data across the accounting and BI systems. • Produce monthly reporting (sales, payroll, gross margin, KPIs) and analyse variances against budget/forecast. • Create, update and maintain budgets and mid‑term forecasts. • Design and maintain dashboards and ad‑hoc analyses for the COMEX and auditors. • Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and robustness. • Monitor sales, payroll, OPEX and margin by centre, activity and entity. • Support operational teams in tracking and managing key performance indicators. • Participate in on‑site inventories, stock controls and cross‑functional projects, particularly IT and functional enhancements. Required Skills: • Advanced analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modelling; VBA optional). • Experience with Power BI or similar business‑intelligence tools (preferred). • Strong written and verbal communication, collaborative spirit, and ability to influence operational teams. • Proactive, curious mindset with a focus on delivering tangible solutions. Required Education & Certifications: • Master 2 (MSc) in Finance, Management Control, or equivalent. • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent certification (preferred).
