Job Description
Job Title: Sales Manager – Energy Sector (Southern France) Role Summary Lead sales and client management for concrete solutions used in energy transformation posts across Southern France. Drive revenue, product mix, and profitability while acting as the primary liaison between customers, technical teams, and company stakeholders. Expectations - Achieve annual sales targets for revenue, product mix, and margin. - Develop and maintain a high‑engagement client portfolio, ensuring long‑term satisfaction and renewal. - Position the company as a trusted partner for new and existing energy projects. Key Responsibilities - Generate annual sales goals aligned with corporate strategy and track progress. - Maintain and grow existing client relationships through proactive service and technical support. - Identify and pursue new prospects using targeted lists; create compelling proposals that include technical justification. - Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules within internal guidelines. - Contribute to sales forecasting and market intelligence (competitors, upcoming projects, client needs). - Support tenders and bid responses in coordination with marketing and technical teams. - Conduct site visits to suppliers, clients, and prospects to provide technical insights and enhance conversion rates. - Draft and refine sales pitch materials with market and marketing teams. - Oversee the order lifecycle: from initial quote to implementation, ensuring quality and client satisfaction. - Resolve post‑sale issues and support collections of outstanding invoices. - Document all activities in the CRM system and provide timely reporting. Required Skills - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Proactivity, meticulousness, analytical mindset, and strong decision‑making ability. - Extensive product knowledge and passion for technical solutions. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), ERP, and CRM platforms (Salesforce, etc.). - Ability to travel frequently within mainland France. - Excellent client‑facing and negotiation skills. - Experience in plant and network management within the power distribution and transformation domain. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum of a BTS (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in high‑voltage prefabricated post installations. - Prior experience with integration companies is an added advantage.
