Job Title: Sports Data Analyst – Internship Role Summary Provide analytical support for sportsbook operations, evaluating odds, betting performance, and client activity to inform risk and strategic decisions. Expectations * Join a fast‑paced, data‑driven team * Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends * Demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and meticulous attention to detail Key Responsibilities * Monitor sports events, markets, and odds across multiple clients, tracking risk indicators * Analyze betting performance and player behavior by client and vertical * Generate recurring and ad‑hoc reports on sportsbook performance for internal and external stakeholders * Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and control tools in Tableau and Excel * Collaborate with Trading, Product, and external partners/providers to resolve issues * Investigate, report, and recommend fixes for data anomalies or potential operational problems * Contribute to data quality improvement and operational efficiency initiatives within the Gaming department Required Skills * Passion for sports and solid knowledge of the sports betting industry * Strong analytical and mathematical abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Tableau or a comparable BI tool * Excellent written and verbal communication in English * Ability to work cross‑functionally and independently Required Education & Certifications * Enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field * No specific certifications required, though knowledge of data‑analysis tools and methodologies is preferred.
