**Job Title** Machine Learning Engineer – Oceanography **Role Summary** Apply supervised and unsupervised machine‑learning techniques to oceanographic data, including in‑situ, satellite, and numerical model outputs. Develop and maintain ML tools, contribute to community‑wide resources, and support scientific output and outreach in physical and biogeochemical oceanography. **Expactations** - Deliver robust, reusable ML models and pipelines for research teams. - Enable adoption of tools across the laboratory. - Publish results, present at conferences, and mentor students, particularly in developing‑world contexts. - Demonstrate commitment to sustainability and low‑carbon research practices. **Key Responsibilities** 1.
