Job Description
Job title: Senior Technical Consultant Role Summary: Deliver end‑to‑end technical leadership for JALIOS digital workplace solutions, encompassing configuration, custom development, client consulting, training, and support to ensure successful deployments and high client satisfaction. Expectations: - Drive technical excellence and quality in all stages of JALIOS implementation. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the single point of contact for technical inquiries. - Align solutions with business needs, translating requirements into feasible technical designs. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and customize JALIOS platforms for clients, applying J2EE architecture and best practices. - Design, develop, and test custom modules or extensions using Java (Spring/REST), web services, and relational databases. - Lead client specification workshops, technical audits, and solution presentations. - Produce detailed technical specifications, application design documents, audit reports, and cost estimates. - Deliver training sessions to clients and partner integrators on JALIOS features and best practices. - Collaborate with R&D to review, test, and propose improvements to core product quality. - Provide Level 1/2 SaaS support, resolving incidents, documenting interventions, and ensuring timely escalation. - Manage mini‑project scope for each client request, delivering on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Required Skills: - Expertise in J2EE web portal/intranet architectures; experience with digital workplace, collaboration spaces, internal social networks, and document/knowledge management systems. - Strong Java, Spring, REST, and database development skills; familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and test frameworks. - Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical design and recommendations. - Excellent verbal and written communication; diplomacy and client‑focused attitude. - Problem‑solving mindset, calm under pressure, and analytical thinking. - Team collaboration and ability to work independently on complex assignments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of technical experience in support, R&D, or lead developer roles. - Certifications in Java, J2EE, or relevant cloud/SaaS technologies are desirable but not mandatory.
