Job Title: DevOps Expert (M/F)
Role Summary: Spearhead the design, deployment, and ongoing optimization of high‑traffic e‑commerce infrastructure on cloud platforms. Collaborate closely with development, security, and product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and performant production environments.
Expectations: Deliver robust, automated deployment pipelines and environment provisioning. Maintain continuous integration, monitoring, and incident response. Lead technical improvements that support rapid e‑commerce feature roll‑outs and evolving client strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architect and maintain containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Provision and manage AWS resources via IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
* Implement observability with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and automate alerting.
* Harden infrastructure and applications following security best practices (IAM, network policies, vulnerability scanning).
* Optimize system performance and capacity planning for high‑traffic web sites.
* Mentor junior DevOps staff and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technical roadmaps.
* Evaluate and integrate new technologies to support e‑commerce growth.
Required Skills:
* ≥5 years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
* Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
* Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).
* IaC expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker).
* Monitoring and logging (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
* Networking, security, and performance tuning for web applications.
* Experience building or maintaining high‑traffic e‑commerce sites.
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go).
* Ability to design resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure architectures.
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
* Relevant certifications preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA), Terraform Associate.
