Job Title: Private Equity Associate Role Summary: The Associate will partner with senior investment professionals to source, evaluate, and execute mid‑market deals in services‑focused sectors, driving both deal execution and post‑investment value creation. Expactations: Deliver rigorous due diligence and investment case building for high‑quality opportunities, produce clear investment committee materials, and contribute actionable insights to portfolio growth strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Source and qualify new investment opportunities in financial services, professional services, healthcare, and education. - Construct detailed financial models, conduct valuation and returns analysis, and assess strategic fit. - Lead core diligence workstreams (commercial, financial, operational, legal) and coordinate cross‑functional teams. - Prepare investment committee decks, including risk assessments and deal rationale. - Execute deal closings and support transaction documentation and negotiation. - Partner with portfolio company management on post‑investment initiatives to enhance operational performance and financial returns. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative modeling capabilities. - Structured approach to commercial, financial, and operational due diligence. - Excellent written and verbal communication for presentation to investment committees. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines. - Commercial acumen and a proactive, results‑driven mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - ACA qualification (first‑time passes). - Bachelor’s degree from a top university with outstanding academic performance. - Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking (M&A or related) or equivalent transaction execution role within a leading boutique or mid‑market advisory platform.
