Job title: Data Engineer (F/H)
Role Summary
Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines to transform, ingest, and expose data for analytical and product use across the organization. Collaborate with data science, product, and backend teams to ensure performance, quality, and security of data assets on Google Cloud Platform.

- Maintain high data quality, performance, and availability while adhering to security and governance standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement of data architecture, tooling, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust batch and real‑time pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python, Pandas, PySpark, and SQL.
- Design data models and orchestrate data ingestion, transformation, and exposure in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer (Airflow).
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, alerting, and governance practices.
- Apply DevOps/DataOps principles: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform), monitoring, and observability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data Science, Product, Backend) to translate data needs into technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Python programming and data processing libraries (Pandas, PySpark).
- SQL proficiency for data modeling and query optimization.
- Deep experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer (Airflow).
- Version control using Git; familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Strong focus on data quality, reliability, and security.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate clearly, and contribute to a team environment.
Bonus skills
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
- Streaming technologies (Kafka, additional Pub/Sub usage).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) to Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of documented experience in data engineering roles.
