**Job Title:** IT and Computer Science Internship
**Role Summary:**
Dynamic, entry‑level internship focused on hands‑on experience across multiple technology domains—front and back‑end web development, quality assurance, data engineering, automation, cyber security, data science, machine learning, UX, software engineering, and database design/management. Interns will work on real projects under industry mentors, building a portfolio that demonstrates practical skills and problem‑solving abilities.
**Expectations:**
- Complete a 4‑24 week internship (full‑time in‑person or hybrid/remote options).
- Gain exposure to industry‑standard tools, languages, and development processes.
- Contribute to live projects that deliver business value.
- Participate in workshops, career training, and networking events.
- Produce deliverables such as code, test documents, data pipelines, or design prototypes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, code, and maintain front‑end and back‑end web applications.
- Apply multiple programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.) based on project needs.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to identify, document, and remediate bugs.
- Develop and run automation scripts or robotic processes to streamline workflows.
- Perform data engineering tasks: collection, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Support database design, implementation, and optimization.
- Engage with cross‑functional teams to integrate software solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong foundational knowledge of programming fundamentals.
- Experience with at least one modern web technology stack (e.g., MERN, MEAN, Django, Flask).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Basic understanding of QA testing methodologies and tools.
- Introductory skills in data manipulation (SQL, pandas, R, or similar).
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to learn new languages/technologies quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Current enrollment or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- No specific industry certifications required, though knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or cybersecurity fundamentals is a plus.
