Job Description
**Job Title** GSM Network Prevention and Acceptance Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Responsible for ensuring safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance on GSM network sites (pylons, rooftops, infrastructures). Conducts technical acceptance tests, verifies performance against specifications, and documents findings. Works closely with field teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and preventive recommendations. **Expectations** - Apply safety, health & environmental rules on all sites. - Identify risks and recommend preventive measures. - Perform technical acceptance of GSM installations. - Ensure conformity of cabling, antennas, and active equipment. - Generate prevention and acceptance reports, including findings and reserves. - Support knowledge transfer to on‑site personnel and subcontractors. - Maintain strict adherence to deadlines, quality, and safety standards. - Frequent travel within the region. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Inspect sites for compliance with HSE regulations and company standards. 2. Assess hazards (height, electrical, radiation) and propose mitigation actions. 3. Conduct technical acceptance checks: site layout, cabling integrity, antenna alignment, power supply, and network parameters. 4. Record performance against contractual specifications. 5. Draft detailed prevention and acceptance documentation (observations, reservations, technical brief). 6. Train and advise field crews and subcontractors on safety procedures and site operations. 7. Participate in integration program and continuous improvement initiatives. 8. Report findings to management and track resolution of identified issues. **Required Skills** - Strong technical knowledge of GSM/mobile infrastructure, active/passive equipment, and safety regulations. - Proficient in risk assessment, preventive planning, and documentation. - Manual dexterity and basic electrical understanding. - Excellent written and oral communication, with strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), digital reporting tools, and internet research. - Comfortable working at heights; no vertigo. - Willingness to travel extensively within the region. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (Bac +2/3) in Telecommunications, HSE, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Additional training or certification in risk prevention or occupational safety preferred. - Qualification as a Construction Site Safety Officer (CSPS) is an asset.
