Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Business Development & Marketing Executive (9‑month Fixed‑Term Contract) **Role Summary** Lead the execution of business development (BD) and marketing initiatives for a professional services practice. Partner with lawyers, senior BD staff, and partners to craft and deliver targeted campaigns, enhance client relationships, and support revenue growth across service lines. **Expectations** - Deliver on BD strategy and activity plans within deadlines. - Act as a primary point of contact for internal BD and marketing teams. - Provide proactive, self‑directed support across multiple departments. - Maintain high standards of communication and data integrity. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate go‑to‑market campaigns, cross‑selling programs, and “hot topic” client initiatives. - Identify and originate opportunities for new service lines using data analytics. - Manage follow‑up activities for client alerts, events, and BD campaigns. - Oversee pursuit project management and account‑level BD tasks. - Produce BD presentations, marketing materials, newsletters, and digital sessions. - Plan, organise, and manage client‑focused events and communications. - Collaborate with CRM/Digital Marketing to produce direct mailings and e‑mail campaigns using the Interaction system. - Maintain and update interaction databases and document BD meeting artefacts (agendas, client data, schedules). **Required Skills** - 3+ years of BD experience in a professional services or legal environment. - Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership. - Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; solid desktop‑publishing skills. - Advanced Excel and data‑management capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels. - Strong organisational, time‑management, and deadline‑delivery skills. - Proactive, self‑sufficient, with a proactive “take‑ownership” mindset. - Team player with analytical, detail‑oriented, and multitasking ability. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required.
