**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead development of real‑time control systems for mission‑critical robotic operations. Drive end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept to deployment, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams. **Expactations:** Deliver robust, scalable software that meets stringent performance and safety standards. Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, adaptability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Maintain clear documentation and participate in design reviews, testing, and simulation activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and test real‑time embedded software (RTOS, bare‑metal, Linux). - Develop sophisticated control algorithms and user interfaces for robotic systems. - Conduct design reviews, create test plans, perform simulations, and validate performance. - Collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA engineers to integrate software with full product stack. - Optimize code for reliability, latency, and resource constraints. - Manage code quality through reviews, static analysis, and automated testing. - Support software upgrades, maintenance, and post‑deployment issue resolution. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in C++. - Experience with real‑time or embedded systems (RTOS, bare‑metal, Linux). - Background in robotics or control system engineering. - Strong analytical, debugging, and simulation skills. - Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. - Resilience, adaptability, and willingness to work across multiple domains. - Clearance eligibility (Security Clearance: Security Controlled). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). - Minimum of 5 years professional experience in software engineering for mission‑critical or embedded applications. - (Optional but preferred) Formal training or certification in real‑time systems or robotics.
