Job Description: **Job Title**: Senior Oracle Developer **Role Summary** Seasoned Oracle developer with 10+ years of experience leading end‑to‑end database application design, development, and maintenance. Expert in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, driving performance, reliability, and scalability of mission‑critical systems. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable Oracle code on schedule. - Ensure database availability, data integrity, and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and support deployment. - Maintain compliance with software development best practices and security standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. - Create and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports for end‑user interfaces and reporting needs. - Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery operations using RMAN, Data Guard, and Data Pump. - Oversee Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database instances, including configuration, scaling, and cost‑management. - Integrate Oracle applications with Java, JavaScript, and other programming environments. - Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance benchmarking. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Oracle best practices. **Required Skills** - Advanced SQL & PL/SQL programming. - Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and APEX (if applicable). - Oracle database administration tools: RMAN, Data Guard, Data Pump. - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database services. - Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Oracle Database 12c/18c or higher. - Additional certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., OCP 12c Cloud Infrastructure) preferred.
