**Job title** Reconciliations & Settlements Analyst **Role Summary** Ensure accurate, timely settlement and reconciliation of FX and cash transactions, maintain client money compliance, and support daily bank account reconciliations within a global payments environment. **Expactations** - Deliver daily FX settlement, cash settlement and reconciliations with 100 % accuracy. - Adhere strictly to client‑money obligations (CAR, CASS) and AML/Compliance standards. - Work under tight deadlines, manage competing priorities and communicate clearly with Sales, Dealing, Finance, Risk and Compliance teams. - Demonstrate continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis and process optimisation. **Key Responsibilities** - Confirm and settle all FX trades daily; validate transaction details against booking records. - Execute cash settlements, ensuring correct amounts reach designated bank accounts on schedule. - Perform daily bank‑account reconciliations – match statements, resolve variances, and file audit‑ready reports. - Maintain day‑to‑day operation of payment processes using SWIFT and other settlement platforms. - Monitor and enforce safeguarding requirements (CAR, CASS) and other regulatory obligations. - Liaise with internal stakeholders (Sales, Dealing, Finance, Risk, Compliance) to resolve discrepancies. - Generate regulatory and internal reconciliation reports; support audit and review activities. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in banking and reconciliation activities, including client‑money reconciliations and FX settlement. - Competency with SWIFT payments and general FX products. - Strong knowledge of AML, safeguarding, CAR and CASS regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret and act on data. - Robust communication abilities (oral & written) and stakeholder management. - Ability to stay calm, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. - Solution‑focused, evidence‑based decision making and consultative presentation style. - Adaptable, resilient to change, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. - Any AML or financial compliance certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
