Job Title: TCE Works Director – Data Center (F/M)
Role Summary
Lead all technical, civil, and electrical (TCE) construction activities for hyperscale data center projects. Manage multi‑disciplinary trades, ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule, and represent the organization in contractual and client interfaces.
Expectations
- 10+ years in senior TCE project leadership, preferably on international or complex industrial sites such as data centers, hospitals, power plants, or process installations.
- Proven record of delivering projects above €100 M with high safety and quality standards.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Strong leadership, proactive risk management, and ability to drive decisions on technical and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete TCE works on site, coordinating all trades and subcontractors.
- Validate technical and operational choices to meet design and performance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental standards; manage H&S performance in partnership with the H&S Director.
- Conduct site inspections, control conformance to specifications, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead regular site meetings, maintain transparent communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and partners.
- Negotiate and enforce contractual terms, safeguard the company’s interests, and uphold QSSE rules.
- Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Executive project management with demonstrable success on large‑scale construction.
- Deep technical knowledge of TCE disciplines and construction standards for data centers.
- Advanced negotiation, stakeholder management, and contractual representation.
- Strong communication, presentation, and multilingual (French/English) capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools, BIM, and digital construction platforms.
- Leadership qualities: decisive, motivational, and results‑oriented.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional certifications preferred: PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management qualification; safety certification (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001) is advantageous.
- Experience with QSSE management systems and contractual frameworks.
