Job Description
Job title: Senior Security Architect Role Summary: Lead design, validation, and continuous improvement of security architecture across IT, OT, Cloud, IAM, and SAP domains within a large public transport transformation program. Drive alignment with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and industry best practices while integrating security into the overall enterprise architecture. Expectations: - Deliver architecture principles, patterns, and reference models that meet regulatory and industry standards. - Provide expert guidance to cross‑functional teams on secure design, threat modelling, and risk mitigation. - Maintain architecture governance, roadmaps, and documentation across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Define, document, and maintain security architecture principles, patterns, and reference architectures. - Support IT & OT teams with secure design of new solutions (on‑prem, cloud, hybrid). - Evaluate solution architectures for compliance with NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and cloud security best practices. - Contribute to and validate security designs for SAP, IAM/ICAM, PKI, network segmentation, XDR/SIEM, and Zero Trust initiatives. - Produce high‑quality documentation and security architecture blueprints. - Act as a security SME across infrastructure, cloud, network, OT, and application teams. - Validate third‑party designs, integration patterns, and architectural compliance. - Support incident response from an architectural perspective. - Collaborate with enterprise architects to embed security into the target architecture. Required Skills: - Extensive experience as a Security Architect (IT and/or OT). - Deep knowledge of network and cloud security architecture (AWS, Azure). - Expertise in IAM/ICAM/IGA/PAM, PKI, certificates, cryptography, SIEM/XDR, monitoring, vulnerability management, Zero Trust, segmentation, firewalling, and secure SDLC/DevSecOps. - Familiarity with SAP security and IEC 62443 OT standards is a strong plus. - Proficiency with modelling tools (Archimate, UML, Visio, Sparx EA) preferred. - Strong analytical mindset, structured problem‑solving, and diplomatic stakeholder engagement. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and delivering presentations. - Ability to thrive in large, complex organizations; proactive, autonomous, solution‑oriented.
