Job Title: Automation Technical Manager (M/F) Role Summary: Lead and manage the automation and industrial IT lifecycle within a defense-oriented organization, overseeing control‑and‑command zones from design through integration, testing, and maintenance. Provide technical direction, coordination with project leads, and supervision of a multidisciplinary engineering and technician team. Expectations: - Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, including PLC and SCADA. - Bachelor’s to Master’s level (Bac +3 to +5). - Proven ability to mentor engineers and technicians and act as the technical bridge between project management and execution. - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and obsolescence management in defense systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Own one or more functional control zones, managing source code, documentation, and test assets. 2. Design, develop, and engineer control‑and‑command solutions on industrial PLCs (Siemens, Schneider) and SCADA platforms (ArcSoft PCVue, CODRA Panorama, Siemens WinCC). 3. Analyze and address system obsolescence. 4. Create simulation tools, automated test setups, and platform configurations. 5.
