Job Description

Job Title: System Engineer – Space Propulsion Systems Role Summary: Design, build, and validate electric propulsion systems for satellites, collaborating with physics, electronics, and thermal specialists to deliver proof‑of‑concepts and high‑quality documentation. Expectations: - Master’s or PhD in applied physics, aerospace systems engineering, or related field. - Strong electronic design and prototyping competence, with experience in RF / power electronics a plus. - Rapid learning and adaptability to an evolving innovation environment. - Excellent manual assembly skills, precision, and quality focus. - Knowledge of aerospace systems preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and architect propulsion system designs. - Perform first‑level simulations (electronics, thermal) using existing tools. - Prototype and test electronic boards (breadboard, PCB) for propulsion systems. - Conduct experimental trials on vacuum benches, measure, characterize, and optimize performance. - Lead multidisciplinary testing of subsystems and coordinate innovation projects. - Author technical documentation, test reports, and deliverables. Required Skills: - Advanced electronics design and prototyping. - Proficiency in building test boards and simple control systems. - RF and/or power electronics experience (highly valued). - Embedded programming (Arduino, microcontrollers). - Hands‑on prototyping and iterative testing mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s or PhD in Applied Physics, Aerospace Systems Engineering, or General Engineering.
