Job Description
**Job Title:** Industrial Computer Engineer (F/H) **Role Summary:** Responsible for optimizing production equipment usage, integrating new production lines into supervisory control systems, and ensuring the availability, performance, and compliance of the manufacturing supervision environment in a fine‑chemistry or similar industrial setting. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial IT within the fine‑chemicals or comparable sector. - Ability to work autonomously, collaborate in teams, and adapt to changing requirements. - Demonstrated creativity and strong organizational skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain applications that optimize the use of production equipment. - Integrate new production processes into the supervisory control system (SCADA). - Provide training and support to production staff on automated installations. - Ensure continuous availability and performance of the production workshop supervision system. - Manage database availability, periodic backups, GMP record keeping, change‑traceability, and related documentation. - Keep system documentation up‑to‑date according to GMP standards. - Lead and execute system development projects. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with ABB Digital Control & Command (DCS) systems. - Knowledge of process control and regulation. - Experience with SCADA/PLC programming and industrial networking. - Understanding of GMP requirements and data integrity. - Strong problem‑solving, communication, and training abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Engineering degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in industrial automation, control systems, or GMP compliance (preferred but not mandatory).
