ServiceNow Technical Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end technical vision for ServiceNow implementations, aligning architecture, integrations, and governance with business objectives. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality architectural designs and roadmaps that meet functional, security, and performance requirements.
- Mentor and influence developers, admins, and junior architects.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks.
- Keep the technology stack current, evaluating new ServiceNow features for business relevance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Facilitate discovery workshops to capture business and technical requirements.
- Design and document comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, including data models, integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server), and configuration vs. custom development choices.
- Define and maintain architectural blueprints, solution intents, and technology standards.
- Govern architecture: conduct design reviews, code reviews, and track technical debt.
- Oversee integration reliability, security, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to shape instance, environment, and upgrade strategies.
- Support presales activities through scoping, estimation, and reference architecture design.
- Drive operational excellence: capacity planning, disaster recovery, security compliance.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years in IT, with several years in ServiceNow configuration and architecture.
- Deep knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, etc.).
- Strong integration expertise: REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, custom connectors.
- Proficient in data modeling, CMDB principles, data governance, and security concepts.
- Experience with IT best practices (ITIL), Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Superior communication: articulate complex designs to business, technical, and executive audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
- Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Master Architect (CMA), or other relevant module certifications.
