**Job title:** Product Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead the product strategy and sales execution for woven and jersey apparel in the Bangladesh market, aligning with Next’s UK‑centric brand standards. Collaborate with UK buying, design, and technical teams to deliver high‑quality, trend‑aligned products, optimize pricing, and drive revenue growth.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5–8 years in product development, buying, or design, with direct experience selling to the UK market.
- Deep technical knowledge of woven and jersey fabrics and construction.
- Proficient in English (written & spoken).
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with UK buying and design teams to translate customer requirements into product concepts.
- Prepare and deliver virtual presentations, manage customer visits, and ensure high‑impact communication of product offering.
- Monitor UK fashion trends and align local product development with Next’s critical path and strategic directions.
- Coordinate with fabric sourcing to secure seasonal materials on schedule.
- Define and implement sales strategies, set budgets with the Merchandising Manager, and monitor performance against targets.
- Evaluate and expand the supplier base; conduct supplier visits and provide market intelligence to UK stakeholders.
- Work with local merchandising and technical teams to accelerate sample creation and accurate pricing.
- Lead, motivate, and assess team workload, set clear goals, and maintain a positive, adaptive work environment.
- Execute other related duties as required to support business growth.
**Required Skills:**
- Product development, buying, or design expertise for woven/jersey products.
- UK market knowledge and ability to adapt US/UK consumer trends locally.
- Technical proficiency in fabric sourcing, production timelines, and critical path management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision‑making capabilities.

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Business (Retail/Marketing), or related field.
