**Job Title** Business Law Intern – Corporate / M&A (January 2027) **Role Summary** Six‑month internship supporting the Corporate & M&A team in Paris. Assist senior attorneys with legal research, drafting corporate and contractual documents, conducting legal audits, and handling various aspects of M&A and private‑equity transactions. **Expectations** - Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. - Work proactively and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - Maintain confidentiality and high professional standards. - Adapt quickly to a fast‑paced international law firm environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform legal research on corporate, M&A, and private‑equity matters. - Draft and review corporate documents (shareholder agreements, minutes, resolutions) and contracts. - Assist in due‑diligence processes and legal audits for transactions. - Prepare briefing memoranda, presentations, and client updates. - Support attorneys in deal structuring, closing checklists, and post‑closing integration. - Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel as needed. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and oral English; fluent French preferred. - Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Solid knowledge of French corporate law, M&A, and private‑equity concepts. - Ability to conduct detailed legal research and produce clear documentation. - Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a Master 2 program or equivalent (law school, business school, IEP, etc.). - Candidate must be a law student, trainee lawyer, or graduate with a focus on corporate law. - Prior internship experience in a law firm’s corporate or M&A department is required. - No specific certification required; eligibility to work in France assumed.
