Job Title: Internship – Brussels Role Summary: Hands‑on legal internship providing exposure to EU and international law across practice areas such as competition, trade, public policy, data privacy, and sustainability. Interns collaborate with lawyers on research, drafting, and client matters, gaining insight into EU regulatory frameworks and cross‑border legal practice. Expectations: • Law student (LL.M. or equivalent) or recent graduate with strong academic record • Excellent English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is advantageous • Demonstrated interest in EU and international law, motivation, analytical mindset, eagerness to learn Key Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research on EU and international statutory and regulatory matters • Draft and edit legal documents, pleadings, and client correspondence • Support attorneys in preparing client strategies and briefing notes • Participate in client meetings and policy discussions as appropriate Required Skills: • Legal research and analytical skills • Excellent written and oral communication in English; French/Dutch a plus • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently and in a team Required Education & Certifications: • Current law student (LL.M. or equivalent) or recent graduate in law; academic transcripts required • No additional certifications mandatory — stakeholder‑ready completion of legal program suffices.
