Job Description
**Job Title:** Key Account Manager **Role Summary:** Serve as the trusted partner for R&D leaders in the (bio)pharmaceutical sector, managing and growing existing client portfolios while generating new business opportunities. Act as the liaison between clients and internal scientific teams to accelerate the delivery of life‑changing therapies. **Expectations:** - Deliver revenue growth and portfolio expansion. - Maintain high client satisfaction and long‑term relationships. - Travel frequently to client sites and industry events. - Communicate fluently in English and French (minimum B2); German is a plus. - Demonstrate proactive prospecting, strong influencing abilities, and a performance‑driven mindset. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and expand a portfolio of (bio)pharmaceutical clients. - Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and prospecting. - Represent the company at scientific conferences, symposia, and other events. - Conduct on‑site client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions. - Organise and host client visits at company facilities. - Assess client needs, initiate quotations, and prepare/ negotiate proposals using internal technical input. - Coordinate with Scientific Operations to ensure seamless project execution. - Monitor biopharma R&D market trends and provide insights to the Business Development team. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in key account or business development roles within the life‑sciences/pharmaceutical industry. - Strong prospecting and relationship‑building capabilities. - Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. - High energy, organized, and results‑oriented. - Ability to travel regularly (domestic and international). - Fluency in English and French (B2+); German advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications:** - University degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline. - No specific certifications required; industry knowledge of pharmaceutical drug development is essential.
