Job Description

**Job Title** Senior Software Engineer in Test (Java / Payments) **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end testing and quality engineering for a new greenfield payments platform, ensuring reliability, security, and regulatory compliance across middleware, APIs, and back‑end services in a financial services environment. **Expectations** - Deliver full‑stack automation frameworks and test strategies. - Collaborate with development, architecture, and PM teams to define quality gates. - Own non‑functional testing (performance, security, reliability). - Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and tooling. - Mentor junior testers and contribute to engineering best practices. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Core Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit. 2. Implement API testing with Postman and RestAssured, covering payment flows, error handling, and edge cases. 3. Create and execute BDD scenarios and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. 4.
