Intern, Information Technology
**Role Summary**
Support software engineering teams in an agile environment by designing, implementing, testing, and debugging applications across software development, information security, networking, cloud, AI/ML, and data analytics. Work under a dedicated mentor, participate in prototype evaluation, technology investigations, and project management activities.
**Expectations**
- Actively learn and contribute to codebases in C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
- Apply AI fundamentals and use enterprise AI platforms (Co‑Pilot, GitHub, Claude, Windsurf) to enhance productivity.
- Follow responsible AI practices, ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrate adaptability, continuous learning, and a proactive attitude toward evolving technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and test desktop, cloud, and mobile applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Contribute to object‑oriented design and scalable distributed or SaaS solutions.
- Perform debugging, prototype evaluation, and technology feasibility studies.
- Support information security protocols and network/infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Assist in AI/ML model development, data science, and analytics projects.
- Manage small project tasks within an iterative, sprint‑based workflow.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Angular, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Understanding of distributed systems, cloud services, and networking fundamentals.
- Foundational knowledge of AI concepts (machine learning, NLP, generative & agentic AI).
- Ability to use AI platforms/tools to automate tasks and enhance decision‑making.
- Awareness of responsible AI, data privacy, and security compliance.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork in an agile setting.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
- Prior internship or co‑op experience in a related field is preferred.
- Expected graduation December 2026 or later.
