Job Description
**Job Title** Salesforce Engineering Lead – Service Cloud **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise‑scale Salesforce Service Cloud solutions. Drive both technical strategy and hands‑on implementation to enhance customer service operations, leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows, and integrations while ensuring high quality, security, and scalability. **Expectations** - Own Service Cloud architecture, case management, omni‑channel routing, CTI, knowledge base, digital engagement, and automation. - Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, and deployment pipelines. - Champion best practices for configuration, coding, testing, and release management. - Mentor developers, admins, and junior engineers. - Collaborate with product owners, analysts, DevOps, and cross‑functional teams to shape the roadmap and deliver continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Act as the primary technical authority for Salesforce Service Cloud. - Design end‑to‑end solutions that meet enterprise standards, scalability, and long‑term platform strategy. - Develop custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flow. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset) for automated testing and deployment. - Implement integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event‑driven architectures. - Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex issues. - Enforce data modeling, security, and platform governance to maintain architectural consistency. - Optimize Service Cloud features to improve agent productivity, case resolution, and customer experience. - Evaluate new Salesforce releases, features, and AppExchange solutions for continuous improvement. - Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and provide technical guidance across the organization. **Required Skills** - 8+ years of experience with Salesforce development, 3+ years focused on Service Cloud. - Deep proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flow. - Strong knowledge of Service Cloud capabilities: omni‑channel, case management, knowledge, CTI, digital engagement, entitlements, SLAs. - Integration experience with REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, and event‑driven technologies. - Expertise in data modeling, security architecture, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with AI technologies (Einstein Bots, Einstein Case Classification, AI‑based tooling). - Leadership and mentorship skills with a collaborative, innovative mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. - Salesforce certifications: Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II (preferred). - Application Architect certification is a plus. ---
