Ingénieur/e DataOps GCP

Job Description

Job title: DataOps Engineer – GCP Role Summary: Lead the operational continuity and migration of SAP decision‑making platforms to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery, ensuring high availability, data quality, and efficient deployment of data projects. Expectations: - Senior-level DataOps proficiency with hands‑on experience in SAP BO/BODS and GCP/BigQuery. - Strong automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting capabilities in a fast‑paced environment. - Ability to collaborate across data, infrastructure, security, and project teams. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor nightly data pipelines; oversee batch scheduling, incident detection, and performance tuning. - Manage and optimize GCP/BigQuery administration, including cost control and resource provisioning. - Centralize, coordinate, and automate deployments across all data initiatives, implementing CI/CD workflows. - Design and enforce data quality controls and observability solutions, ensuring reliable data for business decisions. - Provide level‑3 support for legacy SAP BO, BODS, HANA, and new GCP/BigQuery platforms. - Work cross‑functionally with Data Engineers, Architects, PMs, and Security to pre‑empt and resolve operational issues. Required Skills: - Expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Webi, BODS, (SAP HANA preferred). - Proficient with GCP services and BigQuery; experience with GCP administration and monitoring tools. - Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and automation scripting. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform/Deployment Manager) or similar tooling. - Knowledge of Power BI and general Data Engineering practices is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Certifications: GCP Professional Data Engineer or equivalent is highly desirable.
