**Job Title**
Data Lead – HRIS Project
**Role Summary**
Lead the definition, implementation, and governance of data strategy within an HRIS transformation program. Embed a structured data delivery framework across project phases, ensuring data architecture, quality, security, and compliance meet business objectives. Act as liaison between technical and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable solutions and promote data maturity across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Embed and execute the Data Delivery Framework throughout all project stages.
- Align business goals with data design in source systems and analytical solutions.
- Serve as bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure user‑centric data solutions.
- Ensure adherence to data quality, security, privacy, and compliance policies.
- Conduct data discovery, maturity, and quality assessments.
- Facilitate assignment of data ownership, stewardship, and standards (taxonomy, hierarchy, cataloguing).
- Define and champion business metrics and KPIs.
- Identify and raise dependencies impacting data design.
- Identify required data and analytic capabilities to support or enhance business processes.
- Collaborate with Data Governance and EDM teams to evolve D&A standards.
- Work with Solution, SI Data, and SAP architects to maintain data integrity and future system readiness.
- Partner with deployment and IT teams to plan realistic data extraction, translation, and loading into target systems.
- Support testing strategies (dress rehearsals, UAT) by ensuring data readiness.
- Mentor and advocate best practices within the data team.
**Required Skills**
- Practical experience with data governance and management tools (cataloguing, discovery, lineage mapping, dictionaries, quality/observability, security, compliance).
- Strong business‑analytical alignment and strategic thinking.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple data projects with timely delivery.
- Self‑starting, independent professional mindset.
- Proficiency in articulating technical insights to non‑technical audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent data governance/analytics credentials are preferred.
