Manage a small team of data specialists, embed advanced analytics across operational units, and maintain cutting‑edge GIS capabilities. **Expactations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end analytics services that drive digital capability and insights. - Lead the creation, rollout, and governance of BI dashboards and reporting suites. - Champion adoption of AI/ML for forecasting, efficiency, and service improvement. - Foster a data‑partnering culture by collaborating with business and transformation leaders. - Maintain leadership in GIS and spatial analytics within the sector. **Key Responsibilities:** - Head a forward‑thinking data innovation function, steering BI, AI, and ML initiatives. - Oversee design, development, and deployment of dashboards, reporting suites, and predictive models. - Manage and inspire a team of three (bi/ai developers, data analyst), aligning work across multiple streams. - Advocate and enable advanced analytics adoption across the organization. - Serve as a data partner to operational teams, integrating data‑driven solutions into transformation programmes. - Provide strategic oversight of GIS capabilities, ensuring sector leadership. **Required Skills:** - Proven expertise in BI, data visualization, and dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). - Strong background in AI/ML modelling and production deployment (Python, R, Azure ML, or equivalent). - Experience in GIS and spatial analytics tools. - Leadership ability to manage a small analytics team and deliver projects under tight deadlines. - Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing across all organizational levels. - Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Familiarity with data automation and integrated analytics pipelines. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - Certifications in BI (e.g., Power BI Associate), Python/R, Azure ML, or similar are preferred.

**Job Title** Business Analyst **Role Summary** Deliver discovery and analysis to support Transformation and Change programmes. Work with stakeholders to understand problems, capture requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions that deliver measurable customer and business value. **Expactations** * Fixed‑term contract, 16 months * Hybrid working – majority remote with 2–3 days per week onsite as required * Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams **Key Responsibilities** 1. Lead business analysis for change initiatives, capturing business needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements. 2. Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews, and research activities to gather stakeholder insight and evidence. 3. Document and analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support development of business cases and solution options. 4. Translate requirements into user stories or specifications, supporting service design, customer journey mapping, and collaborative design. 5. Support solution delivery and validation – work with project teams to ensure testing, QA, and final outputs meet requirements and deliver value. 6. Apply and continuously improve business analysis practice, sharing lessons learned and collaborating across the organisation. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical skills and experience with business analysis techniques (requirements capture, process mapping, business case development). * Proficiency in requirements management and translating requirements into user stories or specifications. * Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. * Structured, methodical approach to analysis, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high standards. **Required Education & Certifications** * Business Analysis qualification or equivalent experience. * Certifications such as BCS or Agile Business Analyst (advantage).
