Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Developer Role Summary: Lead end-to-end software development and testing in an Agile environment, collaborating with stakeholders to design, implement, and support high-quality solutions. Ensure product quality through rigorous testing and automation, and advocate for system architecture and continuous improvement of development processes. Expactations: Hybrid work arrangement with in-office attendance required three or more days per week. Strong self-direction and adaptability to solve complex business problems independently. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with technical and business stakeholders to refine product vision, estimate, design, and implement solutions. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Model application architecture, manage system integration, and implement custom or third-party tools. - Execute manual and automated testing (unit, integration, regression), including test case modeling and data management. - Lead CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, Maven) and ensure security compliance and configuration management. - Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership for quality assurance, defect resolution, and deployment support. - Collaborate on enterprise-level system architecture design and optimize software development processes. Required Skills: - Expert Java development with proficiency in version control (Git), Eclipse IDE, and test automation. - Advanced knowledge of DevOps principles (cloud, containers, CI/CD), system/network architecture, and application design. - Strong Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and unit testing experience. - Expertise in IT/software QA, service virtualization, test data management, and functional testing. - Cross-functional communication and leadership skills to drive collaboration and resolve technical challenges.
