Job Description
Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer (Infrastructure Focus) Role Summary: Design, build, automate, and secure scalable IT infrastructure across on‑prem, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Integrate Infrastructure as Code with CI/CD pipelines, support full lifecycle operations, and embed security throughout the delivery process. Expectations: Deliver reliable, secure infrastructure for mission‑critical systems; collaborate in cross‑disciplinary teams; drive automation, scalability, and performance; maintain compliance with security best practices. Key Responsibilities: • Architect, deploy, and manage secure infrastructure for software delivery pipelines. • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • Integrate IaC with CI/CD workflows (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). • Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtual machines, and network components. • Manage containerised workloads in Docker and Kubernetes clusters. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure performance and resilience. • Collaborate with security teams to enforce hardening, patching, and compliance controls. • Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis. • Document architecture, automation scripts, and standard operating procedures. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Windows/Linux administration and networking. • Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V). • CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Containerisation tools – Docker, Kubernetes. • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM). • Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). • Agile development practices (Scrum, Jira, Confluence). • Ability to design secure architectures and apply DevSecOps principles.
