Job Description
**Job Title** Architect – ESA Architecture **Role Summary** Support the end‑to‑end design process for construction projects across diverse sectors. Lead specific design aspects, generate documentation, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality architectural drawings and presentations that reflect design intent and meet UK regulatory standards. - Manage junior designers, oversee design tasks, and report progress and risks to the Project Lead. - Contribute to project execution planning, including financial forecasting and resource allocation. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Develop, modify, and review 2D/3D drawings, elevations, sections, and details in AutoCAD and Revit. 2. Prepare concept design sketches, presentations, reports, and construction documents. 3. Conduct research, data collection, and basic design calculations to inform design decisions. 4. Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design (ISD) principles into projects. 5. Assist in tender preparation, scope development, and contract processes. 6. Manage design deliverables, report on programme progress, and identify potential risks. 7. Mentor and support junior designers and college staff. 8. Prepare and archive documentation in line with internal standards. 9. Support financial planning and resource forecasting for the project. **Required Skills** - Qualified Architect (UK). - Proven experience in architectural design and project delivery (tender & construction stages). - Strong technical drawing skills; proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. - Knowledge of UK building regulations, national standards, and construction methodology. - Ability to create presentations and renderings. - Excellent communication for client and consultant interaction. - Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead a small design team. - Security Clearances: UK vetting level of Security Check (SC) required. **Required Education & Certifications** - Qualified Architect (RIBA or equivalent UK accreditation). - FCA qualification preferred, or equivalent professional registration. - UK building regulations knowledge and relevant industry certifications.
