Job Description: **Job Title:** Production Engineer **Role Summary:** Temporary 6-month position to replace maternity leave. Oversees production unit operations, cross-functional coordination, and team leadership. Focuses on safety, quality, cost efficiency, and environmental optimization. **Expectations:** - Ensure production performance alignment with commercial demands. - Maintain safety, quality, and cost/volume metrics. - Lead a team of 30, including direct supervision of 2 production supervisors. - Implement continuous improvement and HSE protocols. - Optimize processes to reduce environmental impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage production performance (safety, quality, cost, output). - Supervise 24/7 unit operations and resource coordination. - Develop and execute production programs. - Interface with quality, logistics, maintenance, and external partners. - Oversee maintenance activities with designated contacts. - Drive team development and improvement initiatives. - Generate regular performance reports. **Required Skills:** - Chemical or chemical engineering degree. - 3+ years in production units, process roles, or technical support. - Demonstrated site management experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Proficiency in English. - Leadership in team management. - Advanced HSE/Safety knowledge. - Expertise in industrial process optimization. - Experience in SEVESO-regulated industrial sites. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s/graduate degree in Chemical Engineering. - Proven HSE competency. - Relevant production process certifications (if applicable).
