Job Title: IT Systems Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, manage, and secure the technology infrastructure across multiple global offices. Lead platform integration, patch management, cybersecurity updates, and vendor relations to maintain a best‑in‑class environment. Act as Tier 3 support and partner with the CIO on strategic initiatives.
Expectations:
- Deliver consistent, secure, and current infrastructure aligned with organizational goals.
- Own end‑to‑end responsibilities from configuration to incident remediation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, and Intune environments.
- Manage Cisco switching, wireless, WatchGuard next‑gen firewalls, and Okta identity solutions.
- Oversee patch management, ensuring timely updates and compliance with security standards.
- Develop, update, and enforce change‑management policies.
- Lead disaster recovery planning, backup testing, and meet RTO/RPO targets.
- Interface with SOC as a service vendors to investigate, remediate, and document incidents.
- Conduct tier‑3 support for complex network and server issues.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance platform performance.
- Share expertise on business process improvement using technology.
- Support budgeting, vendor negotiation, and contract management for IT resources.
- Assist the CIO on projects, initiatives, and strategy alignment.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, Cisco networking, WatchGuard firewalls, and Okta.
- Proven experience with patch management, system hardening, and secure configuration best practices.
- Skilled in disaster recovery, backup strategy design, and RTO/RPO implementation.
- Familiarity with SOCaaS operations, incident response, and security monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and project‑management abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration across global teams and vendors.
- Ability to work independently, own initiatives, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent in security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred.
