**Job Title:** Asset Data Quality Improvement Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead the strategy, execution, and governance of asset data quality initiatives to ensure accurate, reliable, and trusted asset information across the organization. Drive cross‑functional collaboration, establish data quality standards, and implement continuous improvement processes.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable improvements in asset data accuracy and completeness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Champion data quality culture and enforce governance policies.
- Provide clear reporting on data quality metrics and remediation progress.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and own the asset data quality roadmap, including goals, KPIs, and timelines.
- Conduct data quality assessments, root‑cause analysis, and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Design and implement data cleansing, validation, and enrichment processes.
- Develop and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation.
- Lead data stewardship forums and training sessions for data owners.
- Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and operations to integrate quality controls into data pipelines.
- Produce regular dashboards and reports on data quality health for senior leadership.
- Manage external vendors or tools supporting data quality initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong expertise in data quality management, data governance, and master data management (MDM).
- Proficiency with data profiling, cleansing, and validation tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, Collibra, Alteryx).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities; ability to translate findings into actionable plans.
- Project management experience, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of asset management concepts and related data domains (e.g., equipment, facilities, inventory).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), DAMA‑CDMP, or equivalent data governance/quality credentials are a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification desirable.
