**Job Title:** Part‑Time Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
**Role Summary:**
Strategic technology leader responsible for defining and executing the technology roadmap of a fintech SaaS platform. Oversees architecture, product development, security, and engineering teams on a part‑time/fractional basis, aligning technical initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver a scalable, secure, and compliant technology platform within budget and timelines.
- Lead and mentor internal and outsourced engineering talent.
- Drive innovation by evaluating fintech, AI, and automation opportunities.
- Ensure effective collaboration with executive leadership and external vendors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and implement the technology roadmap aligned with product vision.
- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of SaaS tools, deal‑origination workflows, and data products.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, cybersecurity, and data governance.
- Build, mentor, and manage distributed engineering teams and third‑party developers.
- Assess emerging technologies to enhance automation, analytics, and user experience.
- Partner with CEO, Head of Product, and business units to translate commercial goals into technical execution.
- Manage relationships with cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and SaaS integrations.
- Maintain compliance with financial data regulations (GDPR, FCA technology standards).
- Establish KPIs, budgets, and reporting mechanisms for technology milestones.
**Required Skills:**
- Senior technology leadership/CTO experience in fintech, SaaS, or investment platforms.
- Full‑stack development expertise, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and API architecture.
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams and external vendors.
- Knowledge of data analytics, AI‑driven tools, and financial services compliance frameworks.
- Strong strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cloud Security, or equivalent) are advantageous.
