**Job Title**
Head of Enterprise, Solutions and Data Architecture
**Role Summary**
Senior technology leader responsible for defining, governing, and steering the enterprise, solutions and data architecture across a dynamic, evolving technology landscape. Provides strategic vision, ensures alignment with organisational strategy, and drives digital transformation initiatives including cloud adoption, data governance and architectural excellence.
**Expectations**
* Lead architectural strategy and governance frameworks.
* Act as authoritative decision‑maker balancing innovation, feasibility, cost and risk.
* Deliver end‑to‑end design and assurance for large, complex programmes.
* Champion best practices across Digital, IT, IPTs, and external partners.
* Ensure security‑by‑design, regulatory compliance, and data stewardship.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Set and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, principles and governance.
* Champion architectural best practice across Digital, IT, IPTs and partners.
* Lead design, assurance and oversight of end‑to‑end solutions integrated with existing and target‑state architecture.
* Evaluate, select and govern technology platforms, tools and services.
* Establish enterprise‑wide data governance policies, data models, information flows and integration patterns.
* Drive adoption of modern cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, SaaS) and digital transformation initiatives.
* Provide architectural support to IPT teams and programme delivery partners.
* Oversee architecture lifecycle from design through implementation, optimisation and transition to BAU.
* Ensure all architectures adhere to security‑by‑design principles, standards and frameworks.
* Collaborate with Security teams to mitigate risk and protect assets.
**Required Skills**
* Strategic enterprise architecture, solution architecture and data architecture management.
* Cloud platform expertise (especially Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SaaS).
* Governance, policy development and compliance (data, security, regulatory).
* Proven leadership of large, complex technology programmes and cross‑functional teams.
* Strong analytical, decision‑making and communication skills.
* Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
* Risk management and security‑focused mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
* Professional architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent); architecture or cloud‑specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF 9.2) highly desired.
