Job Title: Fire & Explosion Technician
Role Summary: Provide on‑site ATEX and fire safety consulting, conduct risk assessments, deliver technical demonstrations, and develop training content for industrial safety professionals.
Expectations:
- Allocate ~⅔ of time to client field missions and demonstration plateaus, remaining ~⅓ to analysis, calculations, and support material design.
- Execute consultative audits, prepare technical reports, and assist clients in implementing recommended mitigations.
- Innovate and maintain demonstration tools, produce digital training sequences, and feed data for AI‑based training platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site surveys and audits (industrial or office) to evaluate fire/explosion risks, inspect ATEX equipment, and collect preventive data.
- Analyze collected data, calculate calorific loads and other technical parameters, and draft audit reports and technical notes.
- Facilitate installation and use of pre‑purchased safety equipment, and monitor implementation of recommendations.
- Operate, update, and enhance demonstration equipment; create prototypes and fire‑resistant models as needed.
- Design and deliver practical training sessions (role‑play, face‑to‑face, exam correction) on the technical plateau.
- Produce and update pedagogical materials, ensuring legal/regulatory compliance.
- Prepare digital training modules, gather and structure data for AI usage.
- Participate in continuous regulation monitoring and incorporate updates into training programs.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ATEX regulations and fire safety best practices.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, data collection, and technical calculations (e.g., calorific loads).
- Experience in audit report writing and implementation support.
- Ability to facilitate training, design engaging demonstrations, and develop educational content.
- Digital literacy: use of PAINT, CAD, simulation software, and e‑learning platforms.
- Innovative mindset for creating new demonstration tools and processes.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and project coordination.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s (BTS/BUT) level in Hygiene, Safety, Environment, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering (equivalent 3‑year degree).
- Proven industrial experience in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agri‑food, energy, or similar sectors is acceptable.
- Certifications in fire safety, ATEX, or related process safety disciplines are an advantage.
