Job Description
**Job title** UX Research Lead **Role Summary** Lead the enterprise‑wide user research function, embedding user insight into product strategy and design. Drive a research roadmap, orchestrate both qualitative and quantitative studies, and empower product teams with research skills and knowledge infrastructure. **Expectations** * Deliver high‑impact user research that informs product decisions. * Align research initiatives with overall product OKRs and marketing strategy. * Manage a global/local portfolio of studies, ensuring methodological rigor and actionable insights. * Establish and maintain a living research operations framework and knowledge base. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Gather and prioritize research requests from global and local product teams. 2. Define and plan the user research roadmap aligned with product strategy. 3. Select and apply appropriate methods (moderated and unmoderated usability tests, interviews, surveys, exploratory studies). 4. Conduct and analyze research, ensuring robust synthesis of insights into personas, journey maps, JTBD, and action reports. 5. Recruit participants and manage study logistics. 6. Coach and enable Product Designers to conduct their own research, providing templates, tools, and best practices. 7. Promote a research‑driven culture through workshops, monthly UX meetings, and newsletters. 8. Implement Research Ops: define tools, processes, and metrics to streamline insight collection, analysis, and dissemination. 9. Maintain a centralized, traceable knowledge base for reuse across the organization. **Required Skills** * Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies. * Experience with prototyping and testing tools (Figma, UserTesting, Hotjar, etc.). * Strong analytical, synthesis, and cross‑data insight abilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations. * Fluency in English (professional level). * Familiarity with cognitive psychology, ergonomics, and user‑centered design principles. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Ethnology, Design, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of senior UX research experience in an e‑commerce environment. * Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Usability Analyst, UX Researcher) are advantageous.
