**Job Title**
Digital Data Analyst – Freelance (6‑month contract)
**Role Summary**
Analyze large volumes of user, pathway, and transaction data across multiple countries to produce actionable KPI insights for senior leadership, product, and business teams. Drive end‑to‑end tracking, data quality, and automated reporting using Firebase, GA4, and cloud analytics tools, while collaborating cross‑functionally to enhance data literacy and product performance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a single shared KPI repository and robust tracking strategy.
- Provide real‑time, country‑comparable dashboards and regular performance reports.
- Build and maintain event definitions in Firebase and GA4, ensuring data completeness.
- Interpret user behavior, assess feature impact, and recommend growth levers.
- Train and elevate local teams’ data maturity, advocating for data‑driven decision making.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **KPI Definition & Tracking**
- Define and own business KPIs (GMV, revenue by service/country/channel, conversion funnel, retention, churn, engagement).
- Create a multi‑country KPI repository and ensure consistency across products.
- Design event schemas and properties for Firebase and GA4; collaborate with Product/Tech to implement.
- Audit collection practices and continuously improve data quality.
2. **Dashboarding & Visualization**
- Build automated, action‑oriented dashboards (Looker Studio or Power BI) for daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring.
- Provide country‑level comparisons and near‑real‑time insights.
- Ensure dashboards are accessible, visual, and persuasive to local teams.
3. **Advanced Analysis & Storytelling**
- Analyze user behavior and the business impact of new features.
- Identify growth opportunities, customer friction points, and optimization areas.
- Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
4. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration**
- Partner with Digital Factory, Marketing, Business, and Data Engineers.
- Offer training and support to local teams to improve data literacy.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on results.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in SQL (advanced querying).
- Strong experience with Firebase Analytics and GA4.
- Expertise in automated dashboard creation (Looker Studio; Power BI optional).
- 3–7 years of data analysis in digital, multi‑country environments.
- Ability to simplify complex data and communicate compelling stories.
- Product‑centric mindset with a focus on B2C metrics (GMV, revenue, conversion).
- Collaborative, results‑oriented, and adept at stakeholder education.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum 5‑year tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Certifications in SQL, Firebase, GA4, and BI tools are a plus.
