Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Job Description: **Job Title:** Software Test Engineer **Role Summary:** Perform functional testing of software products, from requirement analysis through test execution and defect management. Collaborate with Product Owners and R&D teams to ensure quality and timely delivery, while maintaining test documentation and reporting progress. **Expectations:** - Minimum 2 years of hands‑on software testing experience. - Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously and in a team. - Effective communication in English and/or French, both written and spoken. - Proactive participation in test planning, execution, and continuous improvement of test processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze functional specifications to derive test conditions. - Design, create, and maintain test data sets and test cases. - Prepare and execute test campaigns, including manual and, where applicable, automated tests. - Optimize and maintain test repositories and documentation. - Report test progress, results, and metrics to stakeholders. - Identify, log, investigate, and track defects through resolution. - Estimate testing effort for releases and provide status updates. - Coordinate with PO and R&D teams to clarify requirements and improve test coverage. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray or similar). - Familiarity with automated test tools such as Cypress or Robot Framework (preferred). - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Organizational and time‑management skills; ability to work under deadlines. - Good command of English and/or French. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in software testing, development, or related field. - ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory).
