Job Description: **Job Title** IT Projects Consultant (EDI) – Male/Female **Role Summary** Deliver end‑to‑end implementation and configuration of an EDI solution for clients. Under the guidance of a project manager, translate client requirements into solution specifications, develop mappings, write scripts, conduct testing, manage production schedules, maintain client satisfaction, and report progress. **Expectations** - Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, business‑application configuration, or solution deployment. - Strong technical foundation in ERP systems and programming. - Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken). - Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, initiative, autonomy, and rigor. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify, assess, and implement client needs within the EDI software. - Develop data mappings across multiple databases and configure field correspondences. - Write, test, and debug scripts required for EDI integration. - Conduct validation and quality tests throughout the development cycle. - Maintain and respect production timelines and schedules. - Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and address issue resolution. - Prepare and deliver regular project reports to the manager. **Required Skills** - Configuration and development of enterprise software solutions. - Knowledge of ERP systems and related modules. - Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java, Python, or equivalent scripting languages). - Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills. - Proficient English communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networks, or Business Information Systems. - Certifications in ERP platforms or EDI technologies are advantageous but not mandatory.
