**Job Title**
Senior Systems Administrator Consultant
**Role Summary**
Provide end‑to‑end administration and management of the company's internal IT systems for a 6‑month contract (with possible renewal), supporting Azure Entra ID, Office 365, Microsoft Intune, AWS infrastructure, and Azure Pipelines/GitHub Actions. Operate on Eastern Standard Time with rotating out‑of‑hours support and work closely with the STI team, internal departments, and vendors.
**Expactations**
- Minimum 4 years in a consulting or industry role focused on system administration or IT operations.
- Proven experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft 365, and AWS cloud services.
- Hands‑on DevOps skills: Kubernetes, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM templates.
- Ability to code in Python, PowerShell, and Terraform.
- Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Adaptability to a dynamic, rotating‑shift environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and maintain Azure Entra ID tenants and connected Office 365 services.
- Manage user access, permissions, and application registries in Azure AD.
- Set up and maintain Microsoft Intune profiles, in‑house EDR solutions, public DNS, and AWS infrastructure (hardening, patching).
- Develop, manage, and optimize Azure pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Identify and eliminate system bottlenecks using performance metrics, profilers, scripts, and other tools.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance issues on servers and applications.
- Create and update infrastructure diagrams, schema definitions, and operational protocols.
- Ensure compliance with client security requirements and KPMG security practices.
- Deliver knowledge transfer for operational handovers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, service providers, and consultants to maintain optimal performance.
- Provide on‑call support outside normal business hours on a rotating basis.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups and weekly team meetings to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- System administration (Windows/Linux).
- Azure Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- DevOps tooling: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM templates.
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell.
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Documentation and diagramming (Visio, Draw.io, etc.).
- Security best practices and compliance awareness.
- Multilingual communication, French / English.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field.
- AWS Certified (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator) – mandatory.
- Additional certifications: Microsoft SC‑300 (Identity & Governance), Microsoft M365 – advantageous.
